ANDY'S ANGELS
Andy’s Angels is part of our Care Ministry. They show God’s love in a tangible way by providing meals to people in our church family who are going through a challenging time. They deliver meals to people who have returned home from the hospital, lost a loved one, had a baby, or experienced a situation where a prepared meal would be of great comfort.
TEAMS
When you sign up you’ll be placed on a team of four people who are geographically close to each other. Your team is assigned a meal (i.e. spaghetti, salad, bread, and brownies). Each team member commits to preparing one part of the meal (entree, salad, side, or dessert). The team coordinates with its members to make arrangements for the delivery of the meal. Each time your team is called to provide a meal, you’ll make the same thing, so there’s never the hassle of deciding what to make. And since you know ahead of time what you’ll prepare, you can always have the ingredients on hand.
ANYONE CAN HELP
Don’t have time to cook a meal or maybe you want to cook but don’t have the funds to purchase the ingredients ... Those who can’t cook can provide monetary donations or grocery store gift cards. Those funds will then be given to the team members who are able to donate their time cooking but can’t spare the funds to buy the ingredients.
