SERVE WEEKEND

BTLFinalwhite.png

We are called to let our light shine before others. Join us for our Serve Weekend on October 26-27 and be the light! We've set up a variety of volunteer opportunities in the community where you can serve.

SERVE WEEKEND OPPORTUNITIES

Pumpkin Patch  | Saturday, October 26 and Sunday October 27 from 9:30 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.

The Patch runs smoothly because of our dedicated volunteers who come together to support the cause and show our community the radical hospitality of St. Andrew’s.

Fall Craft Fair | Saturday, October 26 from 6:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Our Fall Craft fair brings in hundreds of guests and vendors. Help them feel welcome and comfortable by serving in the kitchen (Cafe), Granny's Attic or as event staff.

Food Pantry | Sunday, October 27 from 12:30-1:30 p.m.

Our Food Pantry provides bags of non-perishable food to anyone in need in our community. Help sort and label food or make scripture cards to include in our Food Pantry bags.

Dementia Blankets | Sunday, October 27 from 2-3 p.m.

Fidget blankets can be used by dementia patients and people with autism. The GALS Bible study group is collecting these handmade blankets to donate to Dementia Care facilities in our area. Learn how to make these blankets during a class given by Carol Wetherington in Disciples' Hall rm. 428.

Be the Light shirts are available to all registered volunteers who need a shirt on a first come, first served basis.

Shirts can be picked up in the church office.
