At St. Andrew's we strive to provide opportunities for you to grow to be disciples of Jesus Christ. Below is our current schedule organized by day. If you are interested in participating in a class, contact the class leader listed next to the respective class. Books and materials can be purchased the first scheduled day of the class.


9:45 a.m. Discovery SS*** [DH 421]

The Walk: Five Essential Practices of the Christian Life, by Adam Hamilton | in progress

Discovery Sunday School class is a traditional Sunday morning setting where church goers come to enrich themselves with Bible and faith studies. The emphasis is on presentations designed to reach all members. Music and timely secular and religious issues are also an important part of this class. The backbone of the session is a very open time in which all are encouraged to share the needs and praise of their own families, plus any other needs that are known. Class members strongly support each other through both prayer and deed. | led by: Leonard Henry


9:45 a.m. Kitchen SS*** [DH 428]

Grace: More Than We Deserve, Greater Than We Imagine, by Max Lucado | in progress

Kitchen Sunday School class was so named because the class originally met in the Kitchen (and they do have some outstanding cooks in their class). The group is primarily retired and empty-nesters. They tend to alternate traditional Bible study with more contemporary studies written by leading authors. The class is very supportive and spends time each Sunday sharing praises and prayer concerns, as well as discussing how they can support the missions and programs of St. Andrew's. | led by: Judy Galbraith

9:45 a.m. Positive Attitudes SS*** [DH 429]

Positive Attitudes Sunday School class discusses current national and world events from a biblical and spiritual view. Rather than lectures, their lessons are open discussions using scripture as their guide. The class focuses on open conversations and everyone is encouraged to share their views. | led by: Charles Harps

Susanna Sunday School class is a group of women who study a range of topics from World religions to the apocrypha, to books and people of the Bible—always bringing the topic of discussion around to current situations and how they can use what they learn from scripture to become better followers of Christ. They are a lively group who have a lot of fun. They also take the power of prayer very seriously and have seen that power in action. | led by: Barbara Herr

Men's Prayer group meets for breakfast in the kitchen of the Family Life Center, then moves to the Sanctuary for prayer. The group helps to make disciples for Jesus Christ through a community of prayer. | led by: Riley Tucker
