Do you want to get more deeply connected with others in the community of faith? Are you looking for a group of committed people with whom to explore faith and share meaningful fellowship? Would you like to get together with others who share your passion for an interest/hobby or an area in which to help others? Do you want additional support to grow closer in your relationship with Jesus?
LIFE GROUPS
A Life Group is a small group, composed of 6-8 people, who pursue a deeper experience of God’s grace through a growing relationship with Jesus Christ by committing to meet regularly to connect in Christian community; grow in faith through study, reflection and discussion; serve each other and those outside the group in prayer and acts of mercy; and support each other to engage in a lifestyle of honoring and adoring God with our whole life.
FINDING A GROUP
Join us on Saturday, February 10 at 5 p.m. in the Family Life Center to meet Life Group leaders, learn more about Life Groups, enjoy fellowship with others interested in Life Groups, get connected with the Life Group that meets your interests and schedule, and enjoy appetizers and desserts in a casual, festive atmosphere!
LIFE GROUP LEADERS
If you are interested in becoming a Life Group leader, attend one of our Life Group Leader trainings (Sunday, February 4 at 12:30 p.m. in DH 425 or Wednesday, February 7 at 6 p.m. in DH 425) or contact Janice Kominski. Leaders will be trained, equipped and supported as they organize and facilitate Life Groups. Leaders are not required to be the host or even to be the study leader all the time. Leaders connect their group members through communication, facilitate the smooth operation of the group gatherings, and connect Life Groups to ministry leaders.
