Welcome VBS Oceanographers!
We are so excited to go on a deep sea Bible adventure! Get ready for a whale of a good time! This week we'll be learning about just how big God's love is for us. Each day will focus on a different Bible story with an intro skit and worship songs in our Open Sea Sanctuary. We'll spend time in the Sea Lab, make crafts in Costal Creations, play at Surfside Games or the Seaside Playground, eat themed snacks in the Coral Reef Cafe, and experience interactive Bible stories in the Deep Sea Theater. We'll also be highlighting a different mission partner each day, giving families an opportunity to support a local ministry and offering our VBS oceanographers a way to create something special to showcase and present to the ministries at our Christmas in July event .
Oceanographer Tips
For our week of fun all oceanographers are divided up by the grade they recently completed in school. Our preschool, VPK and Kindergarten junior oceanographers will be in the Children's Center and Powell Hall buildings and our 1st-5th grade oceanographers will be in the Disciples' Hall and Family Life Center buildings. Check-in for all oceanographers is between 8:45 a.m. and 9 a.m. in their assigned classroom. Oceanographers should be signed out from their assigned classroom every day at 12:15 p.m. Please remember that oceanographers can only be signed out by a guardian or an adult listed on their authorized adult form and must show ID.
