As Hurricane Irma approaches this area our Strategic Steering Team (listed below) has made the following decisions concerning St. Andrew's preparations and safety.

Church Office

  • The church office will be closed Friday, September 8, 2017 AND Monday, September 11, 2017.

  • The office will reopen as soon as the Trustees deem the campus safe. (We will notify everyone when this will be via email and social media.)

St. Andrew's Preschool

  • Our Preschool will be closed Friday, September 8, 2017 AND Monday, September 11, 2017 following the decision of Hillsborough County Public Schools.

Ministry Fair

  • The decision has been made to cancel the Ministry Fair for this Sunday and reschedule it for a later date.

Sunday Worship Services

  • The decision has been made to cancel all services and activities for Sunday, September 10, 2017 AND Monday, September 11, 2017.

  • There will be a Facebook Live service held with Pastor Tim at 11 a.m. on Sunday, September 10. We invite you to join us at our Facebook page for prayer, a message and possibly even a little music.

Assistance

  • If you live in a mobile or modular home and are in need of assistance please let Pastor Tim know.

  • If you have questions on what to do or how to help prepare for Hurricane Irma, you can call the Florida Conference Disaster Recovery Ministry hotline at 1-855-CAT-FUMC.

Many thanks to our dedicated leaders, staff and volunteers who have prepped the church for this storm and been leading us through these decisions. After the storm you may be tempted to come to the church to help with clean up, but we ask that you stay off the roads and in the safety of your home. Should we need help at the church we will put out a request for help via email and social media.

Finally, a special thank you to the Strategic Steering Team (a subset of Church Council) for their leadership during this trying time.
