We Are
United Women in Faith
Who We Are:
We are a powerful, fearless force driven by God’s love and united in sisterhood. With a focus on women, children and youth, we act for justice and transform communities.

What We Do:
-
Equip women and girls around the world to be leaders.
-
Organize as together we can do more to make a difference in our lives, communities and world, particularly for women, children and youth.
-
Educate through experiences that lead to personal change in order to transform the world. We do this through attending Mission U, reading books in the United Women in Faith Reading Program, reading Response magazine, and attending workshops and webinars.
-
·Serve and Advocate by supporting programs that provide services to women, children, youth and families in our neighborhood and around the world.
-
We meet several times as a unit through the year for special programs.

The Seekers Circle meets every second Tuesday of the month at 6:30 pm in Disciples Hall’s conference room. A potluck dinner is shared. The program will usually come from the United Women in Faith program book. Guest speakers are also invited to speak on social action issues. The circle supports the SAUMC food pantry, the yearly Wonder Walk for Cornerstone Ministries, and many missions that work for women, children, and families.
